Using an organic fungicide and pesticide to protect your plants is not only a wise investment, but you are protecting the environment and future generations as well. The active ingredient in SeaCide is cottonseed oil and we also add lecithin and whole body fish oil as the inert ingredient. The natural occuring oils cover each plant and protects them from various diseases and insects. It does this by creating a natural barrier between the plant and threatening bacteria while at the same time not allowing soft bodied insects covered with the oil to breathe. There has been an increased awareness over the past ten years to try to find organic avenues to persue that can be just as effective as chemical counterparts without being harmful in any way. 	The fish used are from the herring family, called the menhaden. Menhaden are not used for direct human consumption but have been found to be a great source of nutrients for a variety of applications.
