In a 1999 trial at Louisiana State University, OmegaGrow with a 75 percent rate of recommended fertilizer produced 450 pounds more sugar than the recommended fertilizer rate alone.

In 2003, Dr. Roy Stephen added OmegaGrow to treatments two, three and four to test the product’s efficacy as an additive. These three treatments only differed in amounts of ammonium nitrate, phosphate, potash, sulfur and calcium. The first treatment was without OmegaGrow. Results showed an increase in yield with OmegaGrow.

Dr. George Lazarovits added OmegaGrow to commercial fertilizers in microplot conditions to evaluate the effect on potato scab disease and overall yield. Yields were significantly increased. "We had a hard time digging the potatoes out of the tiles with OmegaGrow—they were just that full," Dr. Lazarovits commented.
